Simply Whipped Cream

I know that for many, whipped cream is just something you find in the freezer section of the grocery store. {But it's so easy to make & in my opinion; tastes so much better when homemade!}  The reason I'm posting this incredibly simple recipe is because up until a couple of years ago, making it myself never even crossed my mind.  I made it once for a pie & never went back to store-bought.  I just wanted to share this simple "skill" to those of you who, like the old me, thought that the white fluffy dessert-topper was called "Cool Whip."

All it takes:
1 pint (16 oz) Heavy Whipping Cream
1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract

I mix all of the ingredients together in a stand mixer or with a hand mixer on high for 3-5 mins.
{in my KitchenAid stand mixer, I use setting 6 for 3 mins & it's done!}

    1. Thank you so much, Nicole! These dishes are by Lenox, they are the Butler's Pantry collection of casual china. I found them at Macy's! They have some amazing pieces to go with the set, including a beautiful porcelain rooster!
